Our Mission
At It's About Story Film and Screenwriting Festival, our mission is to empower filmmakers and writers. We provide a platform to showcase your work and help you advance your career in the film industry. Our festival founders, have over 50 years experience in the filmmaking, theatre and writing industries.
We have sat exactly where you are sitting right now, looking for a festival that will help elevate your career as a filmmaker or writer.
We know how challenging this business is, and it is our goal to support you and be there for you along your journey.
In addition to showcasing you work, we also offer detailed professional script notes from seasoned professionals. The notes are designed to help strengthen your script, and take you one step closer toward achieving your goals.
Each of our professional readers have 25 - 50 years experience in writing, producing, directing and acting in: films, television, theatre, as well as teaching filmmaking, screenwriting, directing and acting.
Nestled in gorgeous Lafayette, Colorado. Not only will you be surrounded by beauty, you will also be surrounded by talent, great films and screenplays, in a supportive and inspiring community.
